Here's What They Said About......

SNOW WHITE

This NODA pantomime by Ron Hall had all the right ingredients for a fun packed panto full of energy and festive touches - complete with sweetie throwing! The director needed, in this production, to have inserted more comic set pieces as the schoolroom scene was too long and did not work however, the production gained in confidence with good characters.

Dame in the shape of John (Legs) Walker worked the audience well while Chris Perry, who played Fairy Dewdrop, and Julie Broadbent as Olga, gave good supporting performances.

Neil Moors - in the style of Frank Spencer - played Leo the Lion and jollied things along. Debbie McCormack (Snow White) and Stephanie Hawthorn (Prince Valentine) complemented each other well but Carole Smithies as the wicked Queen Lucretia did not attract the boos due to the over-playing of the part.

There were a lot of dance breaks which were executed with effect. The rest of the cast was enthusiastic and sang well.
