As of January 2023 Urmston Musical Theatre is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation - 1199397 We were founded founded in 1911 and became a Registered Charity (1119510) in 2007. Your aims are to cultivate the Dramatic Arts and improve and educate the public taste in those arts within the Metropolitan Borough of Trafford and to promote the production of Dramatic and Operatic works having an educative value to this end. At present we produce a main show in April, a show by our juniors in July and a Chrismas show in December.
Work Days We are often to be found working at our Penny Bridge Headquarters On Thursdays and Saturdays from 10:30 to 4:30. Please feel free to drop in for a coffeeand a chat.
Rehearsals We rehearse at Urmston Musical Theatre Penny Bridge Headquarters Penny Bridge Lane Urmston Manchester M41 5DX on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:30 to 10:00. Please feel free to come along for a chat. We are always on the lookout for actors and workers in all departments. We have an active wardrobe department and make and maintain our own scenery.
