This society's, now annual, pantomime was an evening of entertainment with energetic choreography. The singing was tuneful and everyone seemed to know their words. This society always works well as a team.

The scenery was colourful and in keeping with Cinderella. The costumes were also good although it was shame, in the ballroom scene, all the ladies had hoops under their dresses and wore gloves - except one. It did rather spoil the effect.

The experience John Walker as Baron Wastes brought a very enjoyable, light, comic touch to his character. One word about "gags". They must be rehearsed to perfection. Plenty of pathos from Buttons and the Fairy Godmother was very sympathetic.

I enjoyed the selection of music which was well executed. Good family entertainment.
